Fatty Bampkins Cider
Beer Style:

Fatty Bampkins is made with only two ingredients: raw apple cider and yeast. The cider is produced from Maine apples grown in Turner Maine. Working with Ricker Orchards we have selected six apple varieties which are pressed and then the raw cider is fermented in bourbon and rye barrels with three different yeasts. We use only raw cider, no preserved juice or concentrate. When the cider is finished fermenting we taste each barrel and produce the blend that becomes Fatty Bampkins Hard Cider. The cider is then carbonated and kegged. We do not bottle the cider because it is not draft if it comes in a bottle! This process preserves the fresh flavor of the cider.
