Howie's Pub along Washington Ave. is a little hard to find. It sits literally underneath Tookie's bridge (295 overpass at exit 8). There isn't any obvious parking either (turn down Veranda). For all of it's difficulty in finding though, this is actually a really good bar to watch sports at. It's never super busy and the prices for their beers are great. If you happen to live on Munjoy Hill, you can actually walk to this bar following the Eastern Prom trail over the 295 Bridge like you were going to connect up with Back Cove.
