The Grill Room on Exchange St. in the Old Port is the second restaurant offering from Harding Lee Smith, the owner of the Front Room on Congress Street and the more recent Corner Room, which is also on Exchange St. This location specializes in, as you can imagine, offerings cooked over the establishments wood-fired grill. The sign out front however, a bull stylistically similar to the classic butcher's cuts posters, hints at the locations true specialty: steaks. Inside you'll find a good set up of taps on a long and stylish bar. Nothing too far out here, but Anchor Steam is available, and they carry Rogue Brutal IPA for now, another great beer from Rogue Brewing. Recently this fall they added a happy hour type special making after work drinks more manageable here.
