Downtown Lounge on Congress St. is very NYC style for a Portland bar. Narrow and crowded most nights, and nice tall booths mixed with the dim lights give a comfy feel. It's loud due to the number of people inside, and the bathroom is very throne-like. Decent beer selection pretty much wrap up a really nice west end bar.
