Dock Fore is a "blink-and-you'll-miss-it" kind of place. The bar's understated facade, replete with slightly faded red awning, is due in part to the fact it operates in the location that once was the historic Zeitman's Grocery and Boarding House. This is a great bar for sitting and enjoying a beer during the week. The nightly beer specials are amazing: Dock Fore offers a 20oz pour for $1.95, including micro-brews! As you can imagine, this place has it's fans, but what draws me is the laid back atmosphere. Currently, The walls are adorned with Kentucky Derby posters chronicling most events of the past few decades, but you can often find local art hanging as well.
